Sl. No Name of the lab Objective
1 Electronic Devices & Circuits Lab In this Laboratory, the characteristics of various semi-conductor devices like diodes, BJTs, UJT, FETs, etc., are experimentally studied. This Laboratory enables the students to gain practical experience in connecting electrical circuits with discrete components and testing the circuits. In this lab the major equipments are CROs, function generators, ammeters and voltmeters.
2 Pulse & Digital Circuits Lab

This Laboratory enables the students to gain experience on the designing of linear wave shaping circuits (R-C, R-L and R-L-C circuits), Non-linear wave shaping circuits (Clippers and Clampers), different Multivibrators and time base generators. In this lab the major equipments are CROs, function generators, ammeters and voltmeters.

3 Electronic Circuit Analysis Lab

This lab aims to help the students to study various types of rectifier circuits, frequency response of amplifiers and filters experimentally.  In this lab the major equipment are CROs, function & pulse generators and Digital IC Tester.

LIC Applications Lab

This Laboratory enables the students to study various applications of Analog (Linear/Non-Linear) and Digital IC’s. In this lab the major equipment are CROs, Linear IC Trainer kits, Digital IC Trainer Kits and IC Tester.

Analog Communications Lab

In this lab different Modulation Techniques like AM, FM, PM and Detection Methods and designing of different communication circuits are experimentally studied.  The major equipment in this lab includes modulation and demodulation trainer kits, function and pulse generators, Digital storage oscilloscopes.

Digital communications lab

In this lab different Digital Modulation Techniques like ASK, FSK, PSK and Detection Methods and designing a different coded communication systems are experimentally studied. The major equipment in this lab includes modulation and demodulation trainer kits, Cathode Ray oscilloscopes and signal generators.

Digital System Design & DICA Lab

This lab aims to help the students to design various logic circuits such as Decoder, Multiplexer, Comparator, Flip-Flop, Counter, Shift register and ALU. In this lab the major facilities are Xilins14.2 Software, Personal Computers and FPGA kits.

Digital Signal Processing Lab

In this lab the students are exposed to computer simulations of different communication and signal processing concepts. The major facilities in this lab includes MATLAB software, DSP trainer kits, computer terminals etc.,

VLSI Lab

This lab aims to help the students to design analog and digital circuit using Mentor Graphics Software. The major facilities in this lab include Mentor Graphics software and personal computers.

Microprocessors & Microcontrollers Lab

This lab equipped with 8086 & 8085 microprocessor trainer kits and 8051 microcontroller kits to enable the students to learn assembly language program and interfacing. The major facilities in this lab include 8085 trainer kits, 8051 trainer kits and TASM software

Microwave Engineering Lab

In this Laboratory, experiments based on optical fibers and microwave bench are performed. The major equipment in this lab includes microwave benches, optical fiber trainer kits and Fiber Optic cables.  

12 VLSI  Design Lab - I

This lab provides an opportunity to learn Cadence Encounter and Virtuos tools for automatic placement and routing as well as DRC checking. The major facilities in this lab include Cadence tool, Atlys Spartan 6 FPGA Kit, Genesys V5 FPGA Kit and CPLD Coolrunner Kit.
