At a Glance
The Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) department is established in 2009, offers Undergraduate program (B. Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering with an initial intake of 60 seats (during Academic year 2009-10), an additional intake of 60 (120 seats during the Academic year 2010-11) and another additional intake of 60 (180 seats during the Academic year 2020-2021).Now the current intake is 360 in CSE. An additional Program is initiated in 2021 with an intakeof 60 students and in 2022 increased to 12 and now the current intake of CSE(AI&ML) programme is 60 intake. CSE department is also offering M.Tech with a current intake of 18. It is recognized as Research Center by JNTUK Kakinada. This department has truly become the center for learning with its excellent infrastructure and other facilities.
Resources & Infra.
A State-of-the-Art Data center with advanced servers provides highly interactive learning environment with full fledged hardware and software training facilites. DataCenter is equipped with Ten Xeon Processor based Servers and 2 Pentium Processor Based servers and all 900+ Nodes organized in Client/Server architecture with AT & T structured cabling (both OFC and UTP) compliance.
The department provides state of art computing facilities to the students through well equipped labs. The labs have clusters based on Ubuntu LTS/ Enterprise Server, Microsoft Windows 2016 Server Enterprise Edition 64 Bit, Microsoft 2008 Enterprise 64 bit, configured with software such as C, C++, Visual C++, Visual Studio .NET, Visual Studio, JDK 1.4.0, Rational software, Tomcat, Oracle 11g and Oracle 9i developer.
