ANTI- RAGGING CELL
Functions
- Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in this institution including in the departments, all its premises (academic, residential, sports, canteen etc.,) whether located within the campus or outside.
- Anti-Ragging Committee consists of coordinator, senior faculty, headed by the Principal.
- Committee has allotted duties to all the staff members at almost all areas in and around the college i.e. canteen, parking places, local area bus stop, Satya kala power station etc. and ensure that the faculty members will be present at timings (morning & evening) in all the locations to avoid ragging activities.
- The Institution follows the policy of zero tolerance to ragging.
- If found guilty, first warn, and in subsequent incidents take strong actions like punishments and fines.
- To keep vigilance/ check regularly to stop/ prevent/ avoid ragging among students.
- Wide canvassing about anti-ragging, is being done in the forms of Flexes, Posters and Boards in college premises, surrounding areas and hostel where there is a chance of ragging.
- Orientation programme for freshers regarding Anti-Ragging measures.
- Awareness programs about Anti Ragging are being conducted by the Committee to the students & faculty.
- Frequent and surprise raid by Anti-Ragging members at college and hostel premises.
- Any student who is a victim of ragging may lodge a complaint with the college authorities or the committee members. All information will be Confidential.
STUDENTS/STAFF/FACULTY GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL
Functions
- Provide uninterrupted Electrical Power Supply.
- Provide safety from Electrical Hazards.
- Periodically inspect the Electrical Network and Electrical Equipment like Generator, Transformer to assess the maintenance and repair requirements.
- Estimation of Electrical Load Consumption of the College.
- Revise annually the long-range schedule for major repairs and replacements to permit inclusion in the upcoming budget.
- Monitoring of the 233kW Solar Power Plant.
WOMEN WELFARE/SEXUAL HARASSMENT ERADICATION CELL
Functions
- Womens Empowerment through Education.
- Solving women related issues and complaints.
- Creating awareness about womens welfare and conducting programmes concerning.
- Creating awareness andpreventive steps towards protection of women staff / female students from sexual harassment in the college.
- Organizing seminar/workshops on legal rights of women.
- Organizing various activities for girl students and women staff.
- Organizing the health awareness programmes in the college.
INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE
Objectives
- To consider the welfare women teaching and non-Teaching faculty and girls students.
- To handle the issues related with sexual harassment women faculty and students.
- To provide information regarding counseling and support services on our campus
- To take proactive measures towards sensitization of the faculty and students on gender issues.
Responsibilities
- Committee will take all necessary steps to assist the affected person in terms of support and preventive action.
- Committee shall comply with the procedure prescribed in the aforementioned UGC Regulations 2015 and the Sexual Harassment Act for inquiring into the compliant in a time bound manner.
- To provide information regarding counseling and support services on our campus
- If the allegations against the respondent have been proved, it shall recommend punitive actions to be taken against the respondent to the management.
R&D AND CONSULTANCY
Objectives
- To identify thrust areas of research
- To advise and encourage the faculty to carry out research
- The research committee visits the various departments of the college and meets the faculty to encourage and motivate them to undertake research projects and go through the proposals before submitting to funding agencies
- To identify the physical and human resources to carryout research
- To identify the budgetary requirements and resources for funding the research
- To periodically review the progress of research and offer necessary guidance whenever required
- To monitor the funding from college budget for promotion of research activities.
- To scrutinize minor and major research project proposals for sponsored project funding organizations such as UGC, AICTE, DST, DRDO etc.
- To monitor and assess the progress of sponsored research projects.
- To review and monitor academic Ph.D work
- To advice and arrange seminars/workshops/conferences
- To establish technology incubation centers
- To see that the results of research lead to patenting/ product generation/solve some of societal problems
- Faculties are encouraged to attend FDPs, conferences and workshops. Registration fee for FDPs, conferences and workshops will be paid by management
- College is providing relaxed workloads for those who are involved in Ph.D /research
- Research methodology classes are conducting for UG and PG students.
INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL
Objectives
- Development and application of quality benchmark/parameter for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
- Fosters the creation of learner centric environment for the quality education through integration of modern teaching learning methods for better attainment of the program out comes.
- Development and review of frame work for curriculum enrichment.
- Development of feedback collection and review mechanism for feedback from students, parents and other stake holders on quality related institutional process.
- Organization of infra institutional workshop, seminars on quality related themes
- Documentation of various parameters /activities of the institution for quality improvement.
- Discrimination o information on various quality parameters to ask stake holders.
- Development and maintenance of institution database through management information system(MIS) for access.
- Acting as a noble agency of the institute in coordinating quality related activities and dissemination of best practices.
- Preparation of annual quality assurance report of the institute in the required formats every year.
SOCIAL WELWARE COMMITTEE
Objectives
- To make the students aware of the various schemes/Assistances/Scholarships available.
- Continuously monitors the effective implementation of the social welfare Policies intended for BC/SC/STs Welfare by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh
- To assist the students regarding scholarship Application process. Maintaining the scholarship details and book bank data of the students belongs to BC/SC/ST community.
NSS COMMITTEE
Objectives
- To develop the students to serve for humanity.
- To provide an opportunity to the students to know the dignity of labor, self-discipline, the qualities of patriotism and secularism.
- To channelize the youth energy to bring about changes in the society for the development of community.
- To help the villagers to earn general wisdom.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE
Functions
- Monitor the cleanliness and orderliness of the department facilities and surroundings which includes.
- Class Rooms.
- Faculty Rooms .
- Seminar Hall.
- Conference Hall.
- Department Laboratories.
- Department Library.
- Allocate the request of faculty and students on minor repairs and/or rehabilitation to respective maintenance unit.
- Supervise and monitor the job done by personnel relative to their area of assignment.
- Maintains the air conditioning units in the different places of the department.
- Maintains the water purifier units in the different corridors of the department.
- Annual maintenance for the fire extinguishers should be monitor and perform it timely.
- Evaluate the performance of the personnel/technicians.

HOSTEL COMMITTEE
Objectives
- To create an atmosphere of harmony and co-operation amongst the boarders of each hostel and boarders of hostel.
- To provide the boarders a peaceful and congenial environment to enable them to excel in their studies and personality development.
- To create amongst boarders, a sense of accommodation and to inculcate discipline.

Objectives
- The canteen committee reports to the sponsoring body. (The Principal)

- To maintain cleanliness in the canteen area and ensure polite service by the canteen contractor.
- Plan, organize, control and evaluates the needs of the canteen.
- Ensure healthy and safe working environment.
- Present monthly and yearly report to the sponsoring body.
- Produce a canteen menu and price list.
- Monitor, and if require upgrade the condition of the canteen facilities and major equipment.

COMMITTEE FOR SC/ST
Objectives
- To bring the students belongs to SC/ST community at par with the main stream student body.
- To create a platform where students can point out their problems, regarding academic and non academic matters.
- To monitor the implementation of reservation policy in the institution
Responsibilities
- Committee often meets the students and faculties belong to SC/ST communities, to understand their problem and take necessary action and/or render them necessary advice/help to resolve the matter.

TRANSPORT COMMITTEE
Objectives
- Provide safe, secure and viable transportation facility to cover 70 km radius for both students and staff.
- Pick up the students and staff from various places including remote areas.
- Provide seating to everyone in the bus.
- Maintain the buses without any breakdowns.
- Conduct awareness programs on road safety for transport staff whenever required.
- Analyze the requests and plan the routing of buses.
- Nominate faculty in-charge and student in-charge for all the buses to maintain discipline in the buses
- Reschedule the buses in case of any emergency.

Objectives
- Oversee implementation of learning outcome assessment plan by departments and programs as they relate to general education.
- To act as a resource to academics of departments, individual faculty, academic programs and committees for the purpose of assessing student academic outcomes and program evaluation.
- To create an annual schedule of assessment activities, plans and reports. To help each program formulate an annual assessment plan.
