Functions
  • Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in this institution including in the departments, all its premises (academic, residential, sports, canteen etc.,) whether located within the campus or outside.
  • Anti-Ragging Committee consists of coordinator, senior faculty, headed by the Principal.
  • Committee has allotted duties to all the staff members at almost all areas in and around the college i.e. canteen, parking places, local area bus stop, Satya kala power station etc. and ensure that the faculty members will be present at timings (morning & evening) in all the locations to avoid ragging activities.
  • The Institution follows the policy of zero tolerance to ragging.
  • If found guilty, first warn, and in subsequent incidents take strong actions like punishments and fines.
  • To keep vigilance/ check regularly to stop/ prevent/ avoid ragging among students.
  • Wide canvassing about anti-ragging, is being done in the forms of Flexes, Posters and Boards in college premises, surrounding areas and hostel where there is a chance of ragging.
  • Orientation programme for freshers regarding Anti-Ragging measures.
  • Awareness programs about Anti Ragging are being conducted by the Committee to the students & faculty.
  • Frequent and surprise raid by Anti-Ragging members at college and hostel premises.
  • Any student who is a victim of ragging may lodge a complaint with the college authorities or the committee members. All information will be Confidential.

Objectives

Objectives

Functions
IT Infrastructure
  • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.
  • Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organizations network.
  • Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
  • Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software.
  • Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
  • Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Manage operational costs.
  • Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
  • Direct and administrate a contingent of network analysts and technicians, and where necessary, conduct performance reviews and corrective action.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

  • Maintain college website up to date .
  • Collect updated information if any from the departments, Office and Exam Cell .
  • Update Policy .
      • Monthly Update.
      • Weekly Update by the ICT Committee if any.
      • Immediate Update On Principal Permission.

  • Design and Deploy new ICT tools & policies when required.
  • Review; Monitor the existing ICT plans of the college.
  • Encourage to use different ICT tools for students and faculty
  • Motivate to develop ICT modules.
  • Encourage the students to use online journals and materials.
  • Encourage to use or create blogs or use blogs.
Internet
  • Review the internet bandwidth.
  • Prepare plans for effective utilization of Internet Bandwidth.
