Teaching through technology aims to improve education. Technology should facilitate learning processes and increase performance of the educational system(s) as it regards to effectiveness and/or efficiency.
Technology should not replace teachers. Its main use is to enable students learn better through increasing their engagement in educational activities. Technology has to improve the learning process and aim at improving student’s performance. Technology has to facilitate and stimulate individual learning.
Technology in education enables students to adjust to their own pace of learning. Students who need extra time can spend more time going over exercises until they understand, while students who need less support can continue ahead.
There are many new technologies being used in classrooms today: social networking, online teaching, Google blogs, Moodle and mobile devices.

I use blogs to publish assignments, resources, and keep students up to date on class events, due dates, and content being covered. I also use blogs to help students’ master content and improve their writing skills. Students can use blogs to publish their writing and educate others on particular topic.
